Chef Pai’s journey as a Chef has been more than three decades in India and overseas. He brings with him a rich and versatile experience. He is a freelance F&B consultant and founder director of Pai & Associates
His task record includes working for various renowned brands like Oberoi, Metropolitan, Leela,Orchid, Sarovar, IHG, hotels in India and abroad, flight kitchens and multinational company like Unilever .
Currently he is consulting various standalone hotels & restaurants, cafes, cloud kitchens and retail food chains and also involved in NPD in the processed food industry.
Fresh local ingredients, correct techniques and simple, clean flavours, he believes, further elevate the food.
He has won several awards and recognition for his contribution to the Indian culinary scene.
He is a part of the management committee of WICA (Western India Culinary association) involved in bringing the Chefs committee together, holding culinary competitions and seminars.
He quotes Albert Einstein when asked for his food philosophy, make everything simple, but not simpler.
